Is it safe to get married during Corona?

Couples are searching for the perfect marriage garden, pretty dresses and performing small functions in order to tie the knot. But is it really safe? Let’s find out.
Corona outbreak has taken a toll on everyone's life which has brought normal life to standstill. Increasing number of corona cases in India, lot of people's life also get affected and lot of people also have lost their life. Due to the wedding season on, there was a rapid increase in the cases of corona.
In order to stop or less the spread of corona during any marriage ceremony or any social gathering certain rules have been applied by the government. In which one of guideline states that not more than 50 people can attend the wedding. However, states modifying the rule.
Apart from this there are many rules which needed to follow :
  1. People have to follow social distance during entire ceremony.
  2. They should were a mask which is a compulsory.
  3. The guest should use hand-sanitizer and
  4. The entire ceremony should be kept short as possible.
  5. No food or drinks should not be consumed until it is not necessary.
Lets see some of the rules of certain states that should be followed during the wedding ceremony:
  1. PUNJAB: Taking under the consideration of the present situation Punjab government has completely ban on any kind of public gathering. Also in marriage ceremony not mote than 30 persons are allowed. Also in case of any kind of violation in the rule given by the government the management of the hall or hotels will be liable.
  2. MADHYA PRADESH: In Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal and Indore is the worst affected state, citizens does not have to take permission in order to conduct any kind of ceremony. In Indore 50 guest are permitted for the wedding ceremony whereas in Bhopal 40 persons are permitted. Earlier, In indore only 12 persons where permitted and in Bhopal 20 person were permitted. Also in every kind of ceremony social distancing norms should be followed compulsorily. 
  3. KARNATAKA: In Karnataka, complete lock-down will be there for four Sunday's that is from July 15 to August 12. According to the Unlock 2 guideline by the state government essential ceremony or marriage fixed on this day is barred from the rule. Thus, marriage already fixed are only allowed. Also in order to prevent the spread of corona the guest list should not be more than 50 and they should follow the social distance norm.
It is safe to get married during corona only if you follow all the guidelines set by the government in order to prevent the spread of corona. Because it is very important to take all the necessary precautions during ceremony because it will save us only.
