Love Marriage vs. Arranged Marriage

Marriages are one of the important phase of life for any individual. Everyone wants to have a perfect match for themselves. In love marriage, an individuals chooses their life partners on there own whereas in arranged marriage, partners are chosen by the family. However, great marriages does not work when perfect match comes together. Perfect marriage works when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy there differences whether it is arrange marriage or love marriage.

LOVE MARRIAGE:

  1. In love marriages both the persons already know each other and have decided to live their whole life with each other
  2. In this the couple are responsible for their own choice and responsibility of the blame in future lies on the couple, nobody else is responsible.
  3. In this a couple gets along well as they are aware of each other's likes and dislikes.
  4. Such couples also can help us to stop social evils such as dowry as they are independently can take their decision at their own level.

ARRANGED MARRIAGE:

  1. In arranged marriages the marriage does not held between the two individuals but also between the families also.
  2. The families involved in arrange marriage they first evaluate each other. Marriage happens only if they are compatible with each other.
  3. As in arrange marriage there are lots of people are involved, in this can conflicts easily gets resolved.
  4. In arrange marriage the couple has always their parents to guide them. Whereas in love marriage sometime they are not in position to assess the future complexities that can arise in their life.
If we see love marriage vs arrange marriage both the type of marriage has their own merits and demerits and marriage is for lifetime. In marriage though parents are also involved but at last it is the couple who have to live together. So, the decision should be left on individuals to choose their life partners. No one still can say what is better love or arrange marriage as the success rate does not depend on this it depends on the understanding that the couple has.
